Do you come to my boat, or do I have to bring it somewhere?
We come to you. Slip Side Marine is fully mobile — we service your boat at your slip in Foss Harbor, Tyee, Narrows, Breakwater, and other Tacoma-area marinas. You don't move the boat.
How much does spring commissioning cost in Tacoma?
Spring commissioning is a fixed $499–699 depending on engine type. The price is confirmed before we start work and includes oil, impeller, gearcase, fuel filter, plug service, battery test, and a 15-point photo inspection.
How fast can you actually get to my boat?
Same week, in most cases. Unlike traditional yards quoting six to eight weeks, we hold capacity for new bookings every week of the season.
What kind of report do I get after the job?
You get a same-day photo report. We text 4–8 photos showing exactly what was done, with plain-language captions, before we leave the slip.
Do you work on diesel engines or sailboats?
Not at this time. Our menu covers gasoline outboard, I/O, and inboard engines on 18–32 ft recreational powerboats. If your job is outside that, we'll refer you to someone we trust.
